I just wanted to clarify, that I am also in favor of attaching oneself to a local body -- I hope I didn't word that point too awkwardly in the post, but I was actually arguing for it. I just don't think it should be a decision <i>either</i> to attach yourself to a local body <i>or</i> to be involved with all the believers in your area; I think we should be pursuing both realities.</p> <p>Your reference about bearing one another's burdens certainly comes into play as well.
