If all this emergent poo is true about sin being disease and not a crime, and that the wrath of God is simply a cure for it, I just find it odd that God would ever even refer to Himself in scripture as the just judge of all the world. It seems they already feel they've successfully redefined the word justice, so I assume they feel equally safe in chucking out the judge. So my next question is why are terms like condemnation, punishment, and vengeance even necessary? The day of wrath should be something man looks forward to if it truly is a day when the full cure will be revealed.

Mr MacKinnon is on to something that I have found to be very helpful. Both justice and mercy are presented in the Koran as major aspects of the character of Allah, but both fall short and actually becomes exposed as fraudulent when compared to the same characteristics in Elohim. Allah does not exemplify justice when he allows sin to go unpunished, even less when he allows such lack of punishment on the basis of a bribe of good works and then dubs it as mercy. In this, it becomes apparent that his self-proclaimed mercy is unprincipled, undermining his self-proclaimed holiness. A significant portion of his 99 names suddenly become insignificant and dishonest when the light of real truth is allowed to shine upon them. It becomes a mess rather quickly, one that is underscored by an ironic description of unjust judges like Allah in Proverbs 17:15 and 24:4.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but where are you from? Where, that is, have you had these interactions with Mus...ms? In the States or across the seas? I just ask because I hope to go to Central Asia soon for translation work, etc. I'm flying out for an interview next month.

Thanks,
Pitchford

I cannot help wondering how Mr Flood would get on attempting to envangelize any intelligent Mus...m, for the nett substance of his supposed justification is no different from theirs. I have been blessed to be used as a witness to many Mus...m people over the years, and if there is one key passage that brings them into a direct confrontation with the Gospel, it is Romans 3:25-26: "that he might be JUST, and the JUSTIFIER of him which believeth in Jesus. A couple of sharp-witted Mus...ms would probably reform Mr Flood quicker than any Reformed apologist!
